Nichols and W-D-O Chamber Team Up
for 4^th Annual 5K Race and Fun Day

(Dudley, MA) - Nichols College and the Webster-Dudley-Oxford Chamber of Commerce will host its 4^th Annual 5K Race/Walk and Community Fun Day, Saturday, October 18, on the Nichols campus.

The 5K race/walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. on a USA Track & Field-certified course.  Participants will compete in eight divisions, including family and corporate teams. Race registration will be held from 9 to 10:15 a.m. and the race/walk will be followed by an awards ceremony and brunch.

This year’s event, which will be held in conjunction with the College’s Family Weekend, will feature a variety of free activities such as a moon bounce, carnival games, face and pumpkin painting, a magician, children’s races and several health and safety activities, with music provided by Nichols radio WNRC.  The activities will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
