Congratulations to 2004 Environmental Award Winners

Congratulations to this year’s 2004 Environmental Award winners who were honored this week at the 14^th Annual Environmental Awards presentation, sponsored by the Worcester Business Journal and the Massachusetts Audubon Society!  Among the recipients of this prestigious award were chamber members Cranston Print Works (Webster Dudley Oxford Chamber Board of Directors) for water conservation, Massachusetts Electric Co. for making a market in green energy, and Gateway Park LLC, a partnership of the Worcester Business Development Corporation (WBDC) and WPI, for brownfields redevelopment.  Rita Moran, Massachusetts Electric, and David Forsberg, WBDC both serve on the Board of Directors of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Congratulations to the winners of this esteemed award, given annually to recognize businesses and organizations that make positive environmental contributions to the region.
